Arkansas Republican Sen. Tom Cotton on Wednesday questioned TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew about the company’s connections to China and its Communist Party. Cotton also asked Chew, who is Singaporean, whether he is Chinese and a member of the Chinese Communist Party.
