Oct 23, 2014 · I am wondering if it is possible to install a WRX/STi hatchback spoiler on a 2011 Impreza 2.5i hatchback? I have been told that the WRX/STi hatch door is different from the 2.5i and the spoiler would not fit. Does anyone have any knowledge on this? Thanks.

In short, to make the WRX into an STi, you would effectively have to throw another WRX in cost at it as you would need to effectively lift the body off the WRX and drop it onto the drive and powertrain of an STi. STi over WRX: If tracking your car, even occasionally, is something you plan on doing the STi stands head-and-shoulders over the WRX.

Feb 16, 2021 · Shopping for a good hatchback and have WRX or STi options. This will be a family car, mostly driven responsibly, will stay stock, and potentially tow a small trailer for stuff that doesn't fit in/on like a motorcycle.

The STI is not going to be reliable for track use (looking at you, head gaskets), and you will ultimately be slower on the average street circuit than a similar powered/weight RWD car. Even with a solid suspension setup (like MCS 2-way or better) the AWD will ultimately not get the car rotated as quickly as RWD can (thanks, understeer!).

Apr 25, 2017 · Since they had it all apart, I put a new clutch on it as well since labor was covered. No other issues, but I treat it nice and it's stock. I'm at 50k now and think it would be listed for $22k at a dealer but sell for $19k. So hard to not sell it and move onto something nicer. Not really fitting the wrx/sti scene going on 37 years old.

Any WRX or STI hatch in my totally unbias opinion (lol) is one of the best cars you could ever own for a single car person. Even as a two car person its still an amazing car to have. I have moved house 2-3 times with my 1995 WRX Hatch, taken it to the track, been up mountain roads both paved and dirt while pretending to be Colin Mcrae.

Jun 2, 2020 · I have found a black 2008 wrx sti hatchback close to my town. About 125000km/77000 miles on the clock. It looked very nice on the pictures and I could see there was an aftermarket exhaust on it. So I called the dealership and went there to give it try. The car looked really nice.

I personally like the 07 STI quite a bit but honestly 04 sti, 07sti, or 2014 sti hatchback pretty much all tie for second place behing the 1998 Subaru 22b STI in wrb with gold bbs's Reply reply

Apr 26, 2017 · If you're looking to mod it you could get a wrx hatch and put a little bit of money into it and be pushing more power than an STI for less money. I bought my wrx hatch stage 2 with 300 whp and 320 lbs ft torque with 12k miles for $22,500 before tax.
