Easy racking slides or not so easy!!!!! WHY? - Glock Talk
Jan 11, 2025 · You can get a gun to rack much easier by filing and lubricating the right areas without giving up too much accuracy. I will typically dry rack a few hundred times, clean, dry rack some more, clean, lubricate, rack, clean and then relubricate. Makes a huge difference in the way the gun feels and adds to the reliability.

Oct 26, 2024 · There are a couple other mentions, which are both sort of a double-edged sword. The first is the slick finish. Its so slick, that it affects my ability to press check the gun or rack it from the front serrations. I can do it, but its slippery. Its not because the serrations aren’t aggressive enough, its that super slick PVD coating causing it.

Nov 9, 2016 · There's no slide to rack on the Byrna Launcher (that's what they call it instead of calling it a gun). I hope no on here is getting the impression that because I own one that I'm at all a fan - I'm not and think it's a pretty useless bit of kit. Hmmm, I just thought of a use for it for when dogs come out chasing me on my motorcycle or bicycle.
