Kim Tate (previously Taylor, Marchant and Foster) is a fictional character from the British soap opera Emmerdale, played by Claire King. The character debuted on-screen during the episode broadcast on 12 December 1989.

Kimberley Jane "Kim" Tate (née Barker; previously Marchant) is the second wife of the late Frank Tate, the mother of Jamie Tate, the grandmother of Millie and Thomas Tate, and the widow of Graham Foster and Will Taylor.

She is known for her roles as Kim Tate in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale since 1989, and as Karen Betts in Bad Girls from 2000 until 2004. She has appeared in the fourth series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2006, Safari School in 2007, and Celebrity Big Brother 14 in 2014.
