Report: Boston Celtics sign Jay Scrubb to training camp deal
The Boston Celtics have reportedly signed guard Jay Scrubb to a training camp contract, per CLNS Media's Bobby Manning. Per Manning, Scrubb has signed an Exhibit 10 contract this past Tuesday to rejoin the team after being waived last season following an ACL tear.
Celtics sign former two-way player to camp deal
Boston initially signed Scrubb to a two-way deal before the injury after a strong summer league stint in Las Vegas in 2023. However, Scrubb tore his right ACL during the preseason which ultimately led to the team waiving Scrubb before the start of last season to open up that roster spot.

The Celtics have made a change at the back end of their 21-man preseason roster, signing free agent guard Jay Scrubb and waiving forward Tristan Enaruna, according to the official transaction logs at RealGM and NBA.com.
