Drivers should be prepared for additional temporary traffic impacts on 25th East (Hitt Road) on Thursday morning. From 8 a.m.

The state teamed up with a Tennessee company to create 40 temporary bridges made with retired railroad flatcars.

The brief lane closures are needed to allow a crane to remove the deteriorating bridge girder and place a new one. Drivers are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly or seek alterative routes.
