RodeoHouston has announced the full lineup of entertainers who will perform at the nightly concerts this season.

HOUSTON, Texas – A full lineup of performers for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has been announced. With an entertainment schedule spanning throughout the month of March, the lineup features artists from various genres, with nine entertainers performing for the first time on the rodeo stage, according to a news release.

But many have expressed disappointment, particularly with the longtime absence of women and the lack of diversity, musical or otherwise. This year's lineup includes just three nonwhite performers: Bun B, Carin León and Grupo Frontera. Blues and country singer Charley Crockett, whose great-grandmother was part Black, has said he identifies as white.

Here is what you should know about purchasing concert tickets: Wave 1: Tickets for March 4 – March 13 performances will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Jan. 16. The online waiting room will open at 9:30 a.m. Wave 2: Tickets for March 14 – March 23 performances will go on sale at 2 p.m. on Jan. 16. The online waiting room will open at 1:30 p.m.

The Rodeo is kicking it off old-school with Reba McEntire. Other big names include Parker McCollum, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Post Malone and Journey.
