It has been a long while since Toyota introduced the sixth-generation 4Runner, which made its debut in April last year. Toyota only started accepting orders during the last quarter of 2024, while production started in December.

This past year marked the end of the road (paved or otherwise) for the fifth-gen 4Runner, but you wouldn’t know it from looking at Toyota ‘s sales numbers. Even in its final year, with a far more modern and sophisticated model just on the horizon,

Toyota knocked it out of the park by introducing the hybrid setup in the sixth-gen 4Runner, but there’s also a lot more to it that is appealing.

Even though the 2025 Toyota 4Runner isn't actually at dealerships yet, the ridiculous markups have already started bringing the price of the SUV up.

Toyota argued that good things come to those who wait when it unveiled the first new 4Runner in about 15 years last April. We’ve only seen the new SUV in press shots so far, but the wait is just about over.
