Atlanta’s Dyson Daniels has been voted the NBA’s most improved player. The 22-year-old Daniels beat out fellow finalists Ivica Zubac of the Los Angeles Clippers and Cade Cunningham of Detroit.

Dyson Daniels has been named the 2024–25 Kia NBA Most Improved Player, becoming the second Hawk to earn the honor (Alan Henderson won it in 1997–98). In his third season, and first with Atlanta, the 22-year-old Australian guard averaged career highs of 14.

Dyson Daniels, who led the NBA in steals while making dramatic improvements in scoring, rebounds, and assists for the Hawks, was named the league’s most improved player Wednesday. Daniels beat out fellow finalists Ivica Zubac of the Clippers and the Pistons’ Cade Cunningham.
