Michigan school leader among 25 U.S. ‘superintendents to watch’

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says it is investigating a suspicious death. A News 8 crew saw a large police presence Thursday afternoon at a house near the intersection of E. Michigan Avenue and Main Street.

Proposed designs for a two-way Michigan Avenue in downtown Kalamazoo include a raised bike lane along part of the throughfare, fewer lanes for cars and angled parking. The changes will reduce crashes and save lives,
