OWEN COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) - Three people are dead after a medical helicopter crashed while responding to an incident in Owenton, Kentucky Monday evening. It's not far from Owen County High School. The medical helicopter crashed around 5:30 p.m. All three crew Air Evac Lifeteam members were killed.

Troopers from the Kentucky State Police responded to reports of a helicopter crash in Owenton near east Kentucky Highway 22 at around 5:34 p.m., according to a news release. Investigators determined a medical transport helicopter with three employees on board crashed.
