More than 12,000 homes, businesses, schools and other structures have been destroyed by raging wildfires that began ripping through the Greater Los Angeles area last Tuesday.

Update: Containment progress – Eaton Fire in Los Angeles County at 27%
Eaton Fire initially started 6:18 p.m. Jan. 7 in Los Angeles County. Since its discovery six days ago, it has burned 14,117 acres. A fire crew of 3,408 has been working on site and, as of Monday midnight, they managed to contain 27% of the fire. However, investigations into the cause are ongoing.
