ATLANTA — Saturday morning, there are still over 70,000 people without power across the state after fluffy snow transitioned to rain and then to icy conditionals that could lead to iced-over trees that could fall and take down power lines, leading to power outages.

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Over 100,000 people are without power as a winter storm moves through metro Atlanta and north Georgia. Statewide, 104,869 people are without power. In the perimeter, at least 50,000 people are without power, according to Georgia Power.
