NBA insiders Marc Stein and Jake Fischer reported over the weekend that the "early word" out of New Orleans in the early stages of the Dumars era was that the new appointee "wants to evaluate his new situation fully before deciding to outright shop Williamson."

Williamson was at the center of headlines earlier this month when a woman was accused of stalking a rival love interest connected to the Pelicans star.

The New Orleans Pelicans missed out on the NBA Playoffs after finishing the regular season with a 21-61 record. Since then, rumors have swirled that the front office may opt to trade star power forward Zion Williamson.
