The Pirates will option Stratton to Triple-A Indianapolis on Thursday, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.

Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reported that Pirates right-handed relief pitcher Hunter Stratton doesn't have a locker, prior to their opening series vs. the Miami Marlins, starting on March 27.

Hunter Stratton had beaten the odds before, so the Pittsburgh Pirates reliever was convinced he could beat a timeline to return from injury.
