A retail theft operation in San Ysidro earlier this month netted 80 arrests and the recovery of more than $36,000 in allegedly stolen goods, California Highway Patrol investigators announced Tuesday.

A recent California Highway Patrol retail theft operation at the Las Americas Premium Outlets in San Ysidro resulted in 80 arrests and the recovery of thousands of dollars in stolen merchandise.
