The public is invited to a free memory collection event for the historic Wanamaker Building following the closure of Macy's.

The visionary retailer John Wanamaker unveiled the organ to Philadelphians ... including floral arrangements, fountains and artwork, transformed the organ into a visual spectacle as well.
