West Ham United are among a host of Premier League clubs showing interest in Brighton forward Evan Ferguson, The Athletic journalist David Ornstein has revealed. The Hammers, alongside Bournemouth, Everton and other top-flight sides, are reportedly keen to sign the 21-year-old before the transfer deadline on 3 February.

According to journalist Harry Watkinson, West Ham and Everton are sides that the player is ‘open to joining’. Any move for Chukwuemeka would be likely to take the form of a loan switch. Chelsea would be looking to see the 21-year-old clock regular game time, while the player himself will also want to feature regularly.

But Brighton’s Evan Ferguson on a six-month loan would be perfect for both clubs. He needs games under his belt and clubs need a No 9. At 20, he looks to have a huge future in the Premier League but could do with regular games in the coming months.

West Ham United would need to agree to a buy option of at least £60 million if they were to sign Brighton and Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson on loan, according to TBR Football. West Ham have been in the hunt for a striker all month.
