There is chatter that the OnePlus 13 may harbor a new Qualcomm chipset called the Snapdragon 8 Elite with Oryon cores,

The OnePlus 13 is rumored to feature Qualcomms newest chipset, called Snapdragon 8 Elite. The new chip is expected to use Qualcomms Oryon cores, which were also used in the companys Snapdragon X Elite chips for ARM laptops. Snapdragon 8 Elite could simply be the new name for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, but theres no official confirmation yet.

Initially, the OnePlus 13 was expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, but Qualcomm's new flagship chip might change those plans. Qualcomm's new Weibo post teased the upcoming Snapdragon Summit, showcasing a new chip called the Snapdragon 8 Elite with Oryon cores.

Qualcomms Snapdragon 8 Elite chip may debut in the OnePlus 13, challenging earlier expectations that the Xiaomi 15 series would be the first to feature it.
