The Las Vegas Raiders could be prime competition for Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback after they hired head coach Pete Carroll.

Two days after Pete Carroll reached a long-term agreement to become the Raiders’ next head coach, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that Carroll’s former quarterback in Seattle, Russell Wilson, is a “strong option” to fill Las Vegas’ void under center.

Head Coach Kevin Stefanski will begin next season as the offensive play caller in Cleveland. The Bengals’ new defensive coordinator wants to help them start faster in September.
