I notice the owner of the boat always responds to these concerns with the assumption that everyone knows about the sea as much as he does. I happen to be from Kentucky. The only thing I understand about the word 'choppy' is related to a plane ride. It's too mild of a term to be used to 'give adequate warning' to passengers whose expectation of this specific experience is taken directly from the description on said boat's website; a description that uses terms such as relaxing and luxurious. The owner claims there is nothing more they can do, but I'm suggesting there is a very simple solution: change the description! Describe what 'choppy' means to the inexperienced sea adventurer. Describe how 'choppy sea condition' drastically changes the experience from a relaxing and luxurious ride to an adventure worthy of a complimentary barf bag and an option to buy the t-shirt which reads, "I survived the Key Largo Princess Choppy Version 2020". Stop blaming your customers for not doing their due diligence when they have already paid online and are greeted by a comedic presentation in line at the boat ramp.
