Since the Teatro Di Dioniso (or Theatre of Dionysus) is not built on the top of the Acropolis, it's easy to miss. There's also some confusion because there are actually two different ancient theaters…Full review by CPaM68

We almost missed this theatre, having wondered along another main path to avoid some tour groups. Included in the Acropolis ticket and definitely worth stopping by due to the historical significance.Full review by Baggio1018

This ancient theatre was interesting, but not as well preserved as the rest of the Acropolis. It was also roped off when I visited, so I couldn’t walk around. Nevertheless, it was worth the walk down…Full review by Gioia R

Hello: I’m not sure if they actually have concerts at the Theater of Dionysus but they do have concerts at the nearby Odeon of Herodes Atticus. You can find events in Athens and Epidaurus which include the Odeon of Herodes Atticus by going to the website for “greekfestival.gr”. Hi, I'm planning to visit the Theater of Dionysus before the Acropolis. Can I actually buy the €30 combo ticket at the Theater of Dionysus? Am planning to enter Acropolis afterwards from the secondary entrance. Is that possible? Thanks.

Yes I think you can buy the full ticket at that entrance. I came out that way and wish I had known about it .
